Founded by Tiffany Red, the Safe Music Business (SMB) initiative aims to enhance awareness of workplace abuse in the music industry. They also educate music creatives and professionals on identifying and managing unsafe work environments. By providing resources to support individuals through these challenges, they help create safer spaces in the music business.
Backline is a non-profit, connecting music industry professionals and their families with quality mental health care and wellness resources. They are committed to building a safer and more supported music industry, with a large team of vetted mental health providers who understand this line of work.
Keychange US is a non-profit organization working to bring underrepresented genders in the music industry to the main stage. They run the Keychange U.S. Talent Development Program, a holistic career development program for women and gender expansive artists as well as music professionals across all sectors.
We Are Moving The Needle is a nonprofit organization that empowers women, trans, and non-binary producers and engineers to succeed at the highest levels of the music industry through scholarships and grants, mentorship, research, and advocacy. Since 2021, We Are Moving The Needle has awarded over $600,000 in scholarships to women and non-binary creators to attend premier audio workshops and programs around the world.
RAMPD (Recording Artists and Music Professionals with Disabilities) is a platform equipping the music and live entertainment industry with disability inclusive tools, programming, and strategy. Championing disability inclusion across all facets of the music industry, RAMPD connects the industry to a global directory of music sound creators and industry professionals with disabilities, neurodivergence, and other chronic or mental health conditions.
